ReplyDeleteThat's only if you start doubling the penny on the first day (that is you start with 2 cents on the first day). Then you get $10,737,418.24. I think it's more likely you start with 1 cent on the first day that's doubled on the second and on which equals the value in fact #196.
some of these facts seem to good to be true, but then again a lot caught me out as a surprise. good post!
